Activating the Digi: Announcement Bar for the first time

1️⃣ Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Digi: Announcement Bar.

2️⃣ If you installed the app for the first time, then you will see a warning message "App extension is not enabled". You would need to click on the "Activate" button. 

❗ Why Enabling the App Extension Is Important?
The App Extension allows the Announcement Bar to actually appear on your storefront. Without enabling it, the app cannot inject the bar into your theme, meaning customers won’t see any announcements you've created—even if they are set up in the app.
Enabling the extension ensures the app has permission to add the announcement bar to your Shopify store pages as intended.

3️⃣ Click on ‘Activate’

• Under the warning message, click the Activate button to open the theme editor.

4️⃣ The Announcement Bar toggle button will be automatically enabled. No adjustments are needed here.

5️⃣ Click Save
Hit the Save button in the top-right corner to apply your changes.
