This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the Smart Swatch Sorter app (“the App”) in connection with your Shopify-powered store (“the Service”).

When you install the App, we automatically gain access to certain information from your Shopify account, including:

• Theme access – used to verify compatibility and ensure the app’s logic can be integrated correctly with your store’s theme. Note: the App does not use Shopify’s app extension framework or embed a storefront widget.
• Product access – to allow selection of products for internal processing and sorting logic

To support functionality and improve user experience, we may use the following technologies:

Note: We do not use use cookies, web beacons, tags, pixels, or LocalStorage in the App.

We use the collected personal information to:

• Improve and optimize the App’s performance and usability
• Share promotional or service-related messages, if opted in

To deliver core functionality, product data accessed through the App is securely processed on servers hosted by DigitalOcean, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. Additionally, we use Cloudflare to enhance performance and security through content delivery optimization, caching, and protection against malicious traffic. All data handling practices are designed to comply with Shopify’s App Store requirements and industry-standard security protocols.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share it only when required to:

• Comply with legal obligations (e.g., subpoenas, search warrants)
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, users, or others
